*****Special announcement:   We are combining this camp with the Boys & Girl's Summer Camp on August 6-9.  All of the same teachers are there, and the programming is very similar.

The aim is to learn how to self-reflect and celebrate the unique individual you are! We'll learn easy mindfulness techniques and body movements to reduce stress and anxiety, and be aware of our thoughts/bodies in new ways.  Creative art practices, relaxing free space and healthy meals round out our days together.

There will still be private space for girls to explore the themes mentioned below about our female bodies and the pressures of being a young woman in a fast-paced, social-media-centered world.

Now you can register your child(ren) at the lower rate of $445 plus taxes - and there is a 25% sibling discount.

We are so excited for the kids already signed up and we look forward to welcoming more! Please consider signing up or sharing this update with a friend. Thank you!*****

This one-of-a-kind camp is hosted by amazing professionals who are eager to share the insights and tools to help young girls feel better about themselves, their bodies, their emotions and their friendships!

It's really hard being a girl age 12-16! There's so much pressure to look and act a certain way. Talking to other girls can be full of drama and gossip. Bodies and hormones are changing and it's weird to talk about that stuff. New interest in dating or hanging out with boys is tricky to navigate. Talking to mom and dad about this stuff is not easy. With so many new things happening in life it's easy to slip into anxiety, depression, addiction or just withdraw.

The women hosting this camp believe it doesn't have to be so hard to deal with these common issues! We have all been there as young women and have learned there are ways to face these situations with awareness and confidence. We are passionate about sharing our stories in an environment of acceptance, non-judgment and compassion. We have developed this special one-of-a-kind camp so girls/female-identifying persons can be empowered to

~ have a healthy body image
~ increase self-esteem
~ let go of limiting beliefs
~ open to healthy friendships
~ gain acceptance for self
~ carry less judgement

The following women have joined with The Four Pillars Health & Wellness Retreat Centre  to share their professional services:

*Juli Dzuba of Envision Counselling & Support Centre
*Trina Battersby of Good Grief Counselling
*Kelsey Rydberg of OM Yoga Studio / Girlvana / Soul Hideout
*Preston Dumaine of Warrior Girl Healing
*Meg Hazen of Wildly Divine
*Mandy Rubiletz of Sole Vibrations
*Emily Gillies, Circle Way Practitioner & Holding Space Facilitator

During this 3 day / 2 night camp we will:
-Stay in shared bunkhouses (optional to go home at night)
-Learn about nutrition and eat healthy meals
-Explore nature ~ get our toes in the dirt and dip them in the lake!
-Practice simple meditation and yoga (beginner level=totally fine!)
-Unplug from screens and social media for parts of the day
-Create expressive artwork, no art skills necessary
-Be invited to talk about our own struggles, but not required
-Learn easy mindfulness tools that can serve for years to come
-Connect with others, self, nature and spirit of your understanding (no doctrine or religious teachings, just open curiosity)

We plan to create a space and ways to talk about the stuff that we're already thinking about but find it hard to share with anyone else. A trained staff of teachers, nurse, lifeguard and chefs further support our time together. If the camper prefers to be at home during the night and return in the morning that is absolutely fine. (Honour your own needs first!)
